Consistent with the Tyresales teams philosophy of a constantly evolving website and the need to recognise the importance of content, community and technology, we have just completed upgrading our e.commerce platform to Tyresales 2.6 reflecting the 13 on-going major enhancements to our e.commerce website since it was launched in January this year. An effective website in 2013 is a living and breathing entity needing nurturing and attention on a daily basis; the Neanderthal approach of cobbling something together and leaving it to decay for the next 3 to 5 years no longer works.
Version 2.6 is powered by an all new robotised infrastructure capable of supporting current and future innovations to our tyresales business.
Have a look at our e.commerce home page. You will see that it is much less wordy and easier to navigate. We have an upgraded tyre search engine and of course the new drop down menu full of tyre facts and advice on how to buy tyres online. And the drop down menu has been set up on our Tyresales blog site also. And then there is our new Paymate payment gateway. We have also extended the Product summaries on the tyre search pages and now you can access a full product story and large photograph for each tyre pattern simply by clicking on either the photograph or product heading. And lastly there was our sites total mobilisation for smart phones and tablets which was launched last week. Phew!
We have been greatly encouraged by some very positive feedback received today about our e.commerce business and hope you will like our new Tyresales e.commerce and blog sites too.
